At Chaud, our mission is to provide an all-inclusive space for individuals to challenge their body and mind to flow through a curated blend of yoga, Pilates, and strength training exercises.
Chaud classes are designed to help you realize the power and control that you possess over your body and mind. Our aim is for you to complete a Chaud class feeling renewed, inspired, energized, and, most of all, strong.
At Chaud, we believe that anything is possible when you have a positive community supporting you and a good playlist to help motivate you.
In-Studio classes are held in Northwest Washington, DC at various pop-up locations. Live Online streaming classes are also available.
'I've never really been a yoga person, but I love this class. The music, energy, compound movements, and free weights make it unlike anything I've ever experienced. Megan is an inspiring teacher, and the sense of community in the room is strong. Every time I leave, I feel physically stronger, mentally clearer, and spiritually lifted.' - January 2026
'I love Chaud. After years of overdoing cardio and racking up repetitive strain injuries, I felt like I was stuck in a cycle - aches, pains, and endless physio with little to show for it. Then I found Chaud Movement, and it completely changed the game. The blend of yoga and strength training has helped me build real, sustainable strength and fitness without breaking down my body. Best of all, it's genuinely fun - and the community is warm, supportive, and motivating.' - January 2026
'Following a Chaud class was joyous. I challenged my body in an inclusive space - felt more like a celebration than a class as I moved through challenging asana poses and Pilates inspired sequences. ' - January 2026

Chaud (pronounced "show") is a French word that means "hot". Chaud movement classes are designed to generate heat to optimize the body for movement and strength training.
Chaud classes are open to individuals 16 years and older.
In-Studio classes are held at a beautiful studio space in Northwest Washington DC. Live Online classes are streamed via Zoom.
The Chaud class schedule is normally available on the class booking page (see previous page). The studio is currently on break until March 2026. Please check back in February 2026, when the class schedule for March-June 2026 will be posted.
Expect an invigorating movement and strength training class. Be prepared to generate "Chaud". During a Chaud class, you will have the opportunity to challenge your body and mind to progress through a custom movement sequence choreographed to energizing music. Chaud movements are inspired by yoga asanas and mat Pilates practice. All Chaud classes are designed to create heat in your body to optimize the opportunity for building flexibility and strength. The ultimate goal at Chaud Movement is to provide a supportive and fun environment for mindful movement.
Yes, music is a core component of the Chaud experience. All Chaud classes have a curated playlist to which the movement sequence has been choreographed. Music is used to inspire energy and provide a beat to guide the cadence for carrying out various strength, stretching, and agility movements. Chaud Movement classes are not dance classes. As such, no dance experience or ability is necessary. Please note that some songs on a class playlist may include explicit language.
Chaud classes may be video recorded from time to time. The video recordings from a Chaud Movement class will not include any individuals who have joined the Chaud Live Online class but may include individuals who participate in an In-Studio class. If you are participating in an In-Studio class, please also note that participants in a Live Online class will be viewing the In-Studio class that is occurring in real time.
Chaud classes are designed to be challenging for all fitness levels. Options for movement variations are provided throughout class to allow the movements to be accessible for individuals of varying fitness levels. We do recommend that individuals joining a Chaud class have a basic level of physical fitness. Please also check the intensity and difficulty level noted for a class to ensure it is the level that is of interest to you. If you are in doubt about your ability to complete a Chaud class, please consult with a medical practitioner.
We recommend having a yoga mat, hand/face towel, and water readily available for every class. Some individuals might also like a yoga mat towel to provide additional traction during their practice once their body is "Chaud". Individuals attending in studio classes should plan to bring their own yoga mat, hand/face towel, water, and (optional) yoga mat towel to class. A set of light, medium, and heavy weights are also recommended for most classes, but not required. Weights will be made available for those attending class in studio.
We recommend wearing comfortable, light-weight, moisture-wicking clothing when participating in a Chaud Movement class. Please be sure that your clothing will not restrict your movement ability. Your clothing should allow you the freedom to move your body comfortably.

To ensure the link to Live Online classes can be received in time to participate in class, please be sure to book your Live Online class at least 4 hours in advance of the scheduled class time. The online registration system for the Chaud Movement Live Online classes will close 4 hours in advance of the scheduled class time. We recommend booking In-Studio classes as early as possible, as the number of participants who can attend In-Studio classes is more limited. If you are unable to attend an In-Studio Chaud Movement class you have booked, please write to megan@chaud.online at least 24 hours in advance of the time of the class that was booked. Provided at least 24 hours advance notice is given, you may transfer the In-Studio class credit to another In-Studio class scheduled on or before June 13, 2026. For In-Studio classes, we would appreciate as much advance notice as possible of your change in plans to provide the best opportunity for other interested individuals to sign up for the class. If you have booked and are unable to attend a Chaud Movement Live Online class, please write to megan@chaud.online at least 4 hours in advance of the time of the class that was booked to transfer the class credit to another Live Online class scheduled on or before June 13, 2026.
